Conversations on Lupin the 3rd| lupin | | Lupin is one of those classic animes that you watched when you were a kid. But did you know he did not originate from Japan? Lupin originally came from Europe and was created by Maurice Leblanc. Japan's original phantom thiefs are 20 Faces (Shinji Ohara) and Kaitou-kid (Gosho Aoyama). I thought at first Lupin is a japanese (LOL) but when I read some light novels about this series, I began to think otherwise.

| | lupin | | What can you say about this new show of GMA-7? Personally I'm kinda sick with Richard G but then he's a good actor anyway. The thing I'm looking forward to in this show is his sidekicks Ashley (Katrina Halili) and Bridgette (Ehra Madrigal). So far they're doping great. If only vhong Navarro is with GMA-7 i think he's the most perfect actor to play that role.

tomorrow, Lupin will be launched in the Philippine Television.
It is leaded by Richard Gutierrez as Lupin.

In the anime series, the four lead characters are composed of Lupin, Jigen, Goemon and Fujiko. Here in the live action, it is different.

| | Lupin III becomes a drama series? WHAT!!!! | | I've always been fascinated by the comedic anime series LUPIN III. It's about a thief who steals precious jewelries and paraphernalia from around the world, and was always running from Detective Clavio. I don't know how would GMA-7 do it. But
I don't appreciate the fact that they made it dramatized. It's a comedy series and I love it the way it is. | |
| | Do you think Lupin and Lily Potter were romantic? | | i started a discussion a few days ago wondering why james and Lily potter chose Wormtail over Lupin to be the new Secret-Keeper. So here is my theory on why they did: james thought that Lupin and Lily may have once been romantic or were attracted to each other and so he was too jealous to trust Lupin. My basis for that theory comes from 2 things. 1) The way Lupin talks about Lily in the 3rd movie in such a fond way. 2) The parrallel between james Potter and his friends And Harry and his friends. James and Lily are like Ron and Hermoine and Harry is like Lupin. So what do you think of that theory? | |

| | How do the cast of the films compare to the characters in your head? | | As the title says, do you think the actors cast in the films were good choices? Do they portray the character as you imagined them? If not who would you have liked to see cast in that role?For me, Alan Rickman is the perfect Severus Snape, I don't believe their is anyone better suited. | | Lupins. Where have they all gone? | | Fifty to sixty years ago almost every garden where I lived in Scotland had lupin plants in several shades. Where I live in South Germany they are almost unknown and I have never seen any in a garden except for my own. I grew mine from seed about six years ago and they get bigger and stronger each year. They continue flowering over a long time if the dead flowers are removed before the seed forms.
To me they are an attractive flower and always so colourful in May when the spring bulbs have gone and the summer flowers are not yet showing. Does anyone else grow them?.
I have attached a picture of one of my plants which has already been flowering for four weeks. | |
