Have you been watching this anime? | | Alright so I've found this anime to be a pretty good anime...The first translator that subbed the first 8 episodes or so actually stopped translating/subbing or whatever because he hated it .....Which I find completely weird so why did he even bother doing the first 8 or so episodes. Anyway I've been loving Welkin and everyone in Squad 7. I've actually played the game for the PS3 and its so far exactly the same with the exception of a few things but the way the battles go and things its mostly the same. But since this one is an anime they added a few twists like throwing Faldio as a love interest. SO MY NEXT question is for those who are all the way caught up on this series and if your not then this won't make any sense to you...Do you think what Faldio did was right or Do you feel that he shouldn't of done what he did?In my opinion I think that Faldio was right and under all of the things that had happened he did what he could but I can also see why you might disagree so I'm lookin for other opinions out there. | |

| | Stephanie Meyer's Twilight Saga vs. Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles | | I love love love Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles. The way she describes a world with vampires, whether it is during modern times or ancient times, is so vivid that you feel as though vampires could possibly walk among you. She describes vampires as beautiful and ugly, good and evil, strong and vulnerable. You love and hate the characters that she creates.I have read Stephanie Meyer's Twilight Saga. I admit that I see the appeal that is has on teenage girls but to those outside of this category... Bella is, to me, annoying. She constantly plays the "martyr" and absolutely lacks any sense of self esteem. I feel that she is a poor example for young girls to follow. Edward is cruel. He plays yo-yo with Bella's emotions and is a creepy stalker. Not what I would want in a boyfriend.But that's just me. I may be completely unromantic which is why I don't prefer Twilight. If you're an Anne Rice fan, I would love to discuss. If you're a Twilight fan, I am open to being persuaded. | |
| | Chronicles of Narnia or Prince Caspian, which do you favor? | | I grew up reading the series and was a huge fan. I watched the first movie with my own granddaughter and it was just as gripping as the book I so fell in love with as a child. Last night I couldn't sleep and watched Prince Caspian for the first time and was just as magically inthralled as the first time. I have to say though that I really did like the second one more because of the more grown up theme and the action was moving though I missed seeing more of Anslann, the lion. Do you think they will make more of this series? I don't remember the books all that well know but the second movie left you with the feeling that Narnia never sees the High King Peter or Queen Susan again but the younger two return again. Rice fan, I would love to discuss. If you're a Twilight fan, I am open to being persuaded. | |

| | Bad News For Chronicles Of Narnia Fans | | Believe it or not, I haven't seen the second Chronicles of Narnia Movie, Prince Caspian, but I LOVED, loved, loved the first one The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. To my mind the director, Andrew Adamson is nothing short of a genius in how he transformed the book into movie format. I only just learned however two hiccups in the next movies to be made....number one, both Disney and Walden Media who financed the Narnia movies are bowing out in backing any further Narnia movies...why I don't know, seems dumb really since the first two movies were such bit hits for Disney/Walden. The worse news is that Andrew Adamson has bowed out of being the director, although he will be producer and instead the third movie will be directed by Michael Apted. | | The Sarah Conner Chronicles | | I have been watching The Sarah Conner Chronicles since it first aired a few months ago. I was totally surprised to see how entertaining it was. The Terminator seemed like one of those classics that you just can't re-do. After watching the first episode I was hooked. It brings a whole new twist to the time line and very well thought out plots. The actors are also very convincing.
The season finale was last Monday. I can hardly wait for the next season premiere. | |
